KNOWING THESE AREAS OF THE DOG COULD HELP YOU SPOT DEVELOPING PROBLEMS
- Represents the Nostrils – right and left, which are in direct communication with the windpipe and the lungs.
- The Nose, of which the nasal bones form the greater part.
- The so-called ” Stop ” or junction of nose with the skull.

- Front of Forearm with extensors.
- Wrist-joint. Stricltly speaking this corresponds to the human wrist.
- Metarcarpus consisting of five small rod-like bones.
- The Toes, corresponding to the fingers in man.
- Inner surface of Forearm.
- The Back, bounded in front by the withers and behind by the loins.
- The Loins.
- The Croup.
- Set on of Stern.

- The Buttock.
- The Thigh ( First Thigh ) formed of a single bone.
- The Flank, the skin covering this serves to assist in uniting the trunk to the hind-limb.
- Right side of the Belly.

- Stifle joint formed by the junction of three ( 3 ) bones.
- Second Thigh bounded by the thigh bone above, and the hock below. The Second Thigh is really composed of two bones, which corresponds to the ” shin ” of man.
